Stuart Juggins - Founder & CEO

Stuart has an extensive career history spanning 25 years providing consulting and solutions expertise across Technology and Professional Service businesses.

 

Stuart spent his formative years in technology consulting, specifically Advanced Networking. Stuart consulted for Cisco, Fujitsu, BT, and Sky, and led European practices at HP and Getronics in this space. During this time he launched a successful training services company, pioneering and specialising in Cisco which he sold in 2010. Stuart was eventually headhunted by Experis (part of Manpower Group) to launch a new service focussing on evolving Recruitment into Professional Services, tasked with significantly expanding operating margins, leading across 7 countries.

 

Following this, Stuart joined The Adecco Group (the Global leader in HR & workforce solutions) to develop, lead, and execute solutions strategy for the UK&I business with a combined turnover of £4bn. He successfully created and implemented a scalable and robust IR35 solution to comply with HMRC's Public Sector legislation changes in 2017. He has since consulted on similar impending changes due to hit the Private Sector in April 2021, advising end clients and intermediaries on impacts and solutions.

Stuart founded Aardent in December 2018 and began delivering advisory services to the wider Recruitment industry in early 2019 

Christian Faires - Managing Director

Christian joined Aardent’s leadership team as the Managing Director.

 

Public limited company trained, Christian specialises in sustainable business growth and has held Managing Director and Finance Director positions in a number of fast-growing professional services, advertising & creative, SaaS digital marketing, and lead generation businesses.

 

At the beginning of his career, Christian qualified with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and holds the Charted Global Management Accountant designation (CGMA).

 

With significant experience in outsourced professional services, contingent workforce management, information technology, and B2B/B2C sales strategies; Christian’s passion lies in scaling highly successful teams to design, develop and deploy brilliant outcome-focused solutions for clients.

 

At Aardent, Christian is accountable for overall strategic planning, operational excellence, and commercial performance.

Billy James-Elliott - Sales Team Manager (EMEA & Americas)

Billy joined Aardent leadership team to drive the sales division.

 

With 7 years’ experience in executive search and solution services, he comes with just the right experience to develop Aardent’s portfolio further. Stuart and Billy have known each other for around 4 years having previously been trained by Stuart earlier in his career. Since then, Billy has led small to large projects in government bodies, financial services, private healthcare, and exciting startup technology companies.

 

In 2017, he was certified as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and is currently undergoing his Black Belt Certification. This will further solidify his skills in delivering and managing high profile, complex programmes within start-ups, SMEs, and large enterprises.

 

Billy has led teams across the US and the UK in professional services’ to provide a true solution to his clients, where he scales teams in Cloud, Technology Development, and Enterprise Transformation areas and deliver the outcomes.

 

At Aardent, Billy is accountable for the sales and delivery team to service their clients and deliver successful outcomes.

Simon Durtnal - Partner Business Transformation & Innovation (EMEA & Americas)

Simon joined Aardent to lead  the US and EMEA Innovation and Transformation practice.

 

Simon has extensive experience innovating businesses and developing and delivering complex innovative digital and business transformation portfolios, programmes and projects across the Financial Services, Security and Government sectors.  

 

Simon innovates and transforms organisations to deliver enhanced operational business and digital solutions that deliver step-change capability, value and benefits for customers and shareholders.

One of the most notable achievements Simon has achieved is that he spearheaded the successful design, development and delivery (on-time, to-scope, to-budget) of a business and technology change solutions portfolio of 30+ innovative, strategically important   systems and products that completely re-networked, re-platformed, digitised, mobilised and transformed the TOM of a UK based Legal client.  Allowing truly secure mobile and flexible collaboration globally, launching cloud based services, and delivering over £300m of savings YoY.

At Aardent, Simon is responsible for the Innovation Practise consulting projects across our clients in EMEA and Americas.
